Week 12

I broke up with the restaurant I was waitressing at. I co-worked some more. Then in the midst of the video-making for the Levi’s contest, I lost track of time. My friend Mandy and I watched several sunrises over the course of the week.

First was learning self-awareness. Watching yourself on film is highly revealing. I recommend it to everyone.

After adjusting my quirks for the camera, I found clarity in the direction that my life is heading. This was expected. What I didn’t expect was the unraveling of my advertising past leading me to a new vantage point for the video. The making of this short 2:00 project turned into an exercise of ‘the creative process’. From hatching the Big Idea to grasping for the right visual means to articulate the message to the viewer. 

I’m quite happy with the end result.
