Reflections on Life
There’s something about dancing around in a techno bubble for three days that brings about profound realizations…maybe it’s the controlled environment. being isolated from real world problems and distractions.
Also, being around different kinds of people and seeing/hearing their life experiences really puts things into perspective. I feel lucky to have the ability to choose my life.
I started researching grad school programs and different associations and groups for Design Thinking and the Creative Economy. I realized I don’t have to commit to this entrepreneurship lifestyle quite yet. It’s definitely worth exploring because the idea is close to my heart, but I don’t have to dedicate my life to it. I can take a minority stake in the business or think about franchising it. It’s only an aspect of who I am. One of many dreams in my life.
I took time off for a reason. I am discovering my true passion still. So far, I’ve determined it’s design-related and creativity-centered. However I’m interested in more than just the aesthetics of design. I really want to revolutionize the world with creative thinking. Humans have not realized the full potential of right-brained societies. Governments and civilizations are run by left-brained people.
I feel there is still some soul searching left to do…
