DETROIT ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL.

drove out for Memorial Day weekend dance adventure with a few friends from Boston…needless to say: epic times were had by all.

I was introduced to all sorts of new electronic sounds that were beyond the categories of dance music and techno music that I knew before. I discovered Detroit is a multi-faceted city with soul and character. The techno from the D blew my mind (K.Hand to old school Saunderson). WOW. So industrial and bass-heavy and soul moving and fabulous. I even gained a new appreciation for House music as a whole. It’s not all about tan, pretty Euro people. It’s fun in the sun music. Slow and gradual can be better than fast and hard. Although I prefer the hard techno/electro and drum n bass.

My musical palate is wet and wants more, More, MORE.
